Kraft Plus K+ Graduation day

Hello!

Kraft Plus have another brilliant challenge this month.

Zentangle Doodling!
The criteria:
Kraft  background and add ZENTANGLING to your creation.
(As much or as little as you like, and in any colour.)

Thinking cap on...
.and also playing  along with my own challenge of making old new again and using what is in my stash.... I found these very old Basic Grey  Rub-Ons snipped them up and added them to my page.
I have always loved Rub Ons  so my stash is...... ...well lets just say I still have a few  to use up.
I have had these for quite awhile  and they were still perfect and rubbed on beautifully.
To add some dimension I used some 2Crafty Chipboard pieces,
(butterflies and surprise, surprise a heart) and added my touch of Zentangling.
Even though I haven't zentangled  much it was lots of fun.

Here is my page.

[GRADUATION day}

My journaling is written on the back and reads something like this.......

I went to Adelaide and went along to Sarah's Graduation ceremony.
It was a long day, but a special day and I was so pleased I was there with Sarah.
 4 Years of Uni finished.
Uni SA Graduate for the degree of  Bachelor of Education, Primary & Middle
We are so proud of this young lady and of her achievements.
The purple flower is the Education colour
and the hood on her gown was lined with purple.
They also had to wear the Mortarboard.
She looked beautiful all dressed up and was very excited, happy and pleased to receive her certificate.
Now she can teach.
Good luck Sarah we Wish you all the Very Best,  we know you will be a wonderful teacher.
Sadly she didn't get a job after applying for what seemed like hundreds.
Feeling disappointed but not defeated  she reapplied for Uni to  study Special Education.
She chose to study externally so she could also do some  Temporary Relief Teaching (TRT).
During the 2nd term she had lots of work and really enjoyed the role
and putting all her hard work into practice.
This term she is working 3 days a week, 1 on 1, with a young boy who has  Asperger's. So far  she has had amazing results and wonderful compliments, credits and praise from the School Principal, the Mother and other teachers.
They say things happen for a reason.

Get you pens out and your Zen on.
It is very relaxing

Thank you so much for popping by my blog.
Thanks also for your special comments.

The wedding preparations are all going well.

Janice

Another stunning Kraft entry Janice. love the rubons and the tiny touch of purple. Lovely to read your journalling about the success of your DD. what an honour for her to receive praise for her work with students with special needs. :)

Adore this! Love the way you've used the twine...your zentangle is fabulous and the black & white look works a treat :) Good on your girl...it WILL all work out how it is meant to..... with age I think we can see that a lot more than the younger ones, at times:):)

This is so beautiful. I love the little touch of the purple flower and the symbolic attachment to it. I believe things happen for a reason, and am so glad your daughter is finding her place. Teaching special education is not for everyone, so perhaps she has found her direction. Lovely to read and inspires me with hope, as I too am studying a post-graduate because of lack of work around. Thanks for sharing.:)

I fell in love with this when I saw it on the Kraft+ page. It's a stunner (and a winner in my eyes!) You must be so proud of your daughter. I must say, your words about her finding it hard to get a job have come at a strange time for me as my son has just decided he wants to be a teacher! Yikes!
