1,000 songs

 May White With 1 Challenge
White + Cream + Chipboard
{1,000 songs}

Hmmm, when I looked at the challenge for this month I thought," these are two colours I would not normally put together". However I do love the WW1 challenges and knew I had to give it a try.  I went through my stash and pulled out a few cream and white flowers and some ribbon that the lovely Jess Mac gave me, I used a CW template and a dabber to add some paint and the chipboard is  all Twiddleybitz ......... this is my page.
Thanks for stopping by.

solitude

 My page for the May Inspiration Challenge over at Twiddleybitz
{solitude}

Click here to watch and listen to this video clip ( bet you listen to it more than once, or when you listen to it you will be singing or humming the tune). Be inspired and join in on the challenge to win a prize. After looking through my Twiddley pieces I came up with this page, inspired by the first scene you see in the clip, with the old window and the two chairs either side of the lady (3 maple leaves), I also listened to the words to the song and got my title. I used paint and crackle paint to get the weathered effect on the frame. I printed 2 photos and cut a small section from one and added it to the maple leaf..
Visit the Twiddley ning  and check out all the challenges for this month. There's something for everyone, a Sketch, a Colour Combo, a Baby Recipe and an Inspiration Challenge.. Join in on the fun.

Thanks to  the wonderful ladies who visit and leave me comments, I love reading them.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend..

 I've been playing with this Twiddleybitz Fantasy Frame for awhile. Had an idea of what I wanted to create, but it took me much longer than I though it would. I printed a large photo to cover the entire frame allowing for it to be set back into the (box) frame. I then measured, scored and cut so it all went into place, (a bit tricky) not perfect by any means. I stuck it all down. I let it dry overnight and  using a sharp kraft knife I cut around the edge of the frame, I also used a file to finish it off.. I inked the edges and added all the bitz and pieces. Among the seaweed and shells I have added some Twiddleybitz small card scrolls which I cut in half and  pieces from a Twiddley tree.  I'm happy with the way it turned out..
I don't usually do Off The Page projects, but I have really enjoyed trying something different and playing with the awesome Twiddleybitz pieces.

wish you

My first page for the month of May at Twiddleybitz as a Guest DT.
 {wish you}

 Using a beautiful Twiddleybitz flourish, a corner piece, small scrolls, alphas and a name plate. I cut the end piece off the name plate and added it to a hidden journal tag as a pull out handle. Also used some gorgeous Prima flowers and little resin birdhouse and my usual distressing and stitching.
