More Than Words - Beautiful

 Hello Everyone!!

have this beautiful challenge this month.

 Here is what I made.

{Beautiful}

I have used some beautiful white rub-ons from my stash to create a frame around this gorgeous photo.
Photo taken by Jade Norwood Photography.
 I wanted to add more  but decided that less is more.
I have used a beautiful big 2Crafty Chipboard Butterfly and simply inked it with black distress ink and added some rub-ons randomly over it.
The Title is also a rub-on..
Slowly get through my rub-on  stash.

A couple of close ups of the butterfly and rubon details.

I really appreciate you taking the time to stop by and leave such beautiful comments.
Thank You!!

Scrap The Girls - March Challenge - #selfie

Now everyone would have a photo or photos to scrap for this challenge and we must remember it is  important that we get in the photos and scrap photos of ourselves.

Here is the March Challenge.

Here is my take.

{#hashtagselfie}

 A simple layout, using up some more bits and pieces from my stash.
I rarely scrap photos of myself, so thought this was the perfect challenge for me.
Here I am  with my beautiful daughter.
We were waiting for the Adelaide Credit Union Christmas pageant to start....well worth the very early start and wait.  To help time pass we enjoyed homemade Yoyo biscuits made by Sarah which were delicious and a beautiful cuppa. Thank you gorgeous girl for always thinking of me. xx

I had this 2Crafty chipboard wordlet in my stash.
2Crafty make it so easy to add titles to your pages...pop over here to check them all out.
And the little chippie camera is perfect.

Thank you for stopping by.
Your kind words are much appreciated.

Kraft+ - So much fun!!

Hello!!

Kraft+  have this gorgeous Kraft Board for inspiration this month
"a denim revolution"
use Denim on your layout.

Here is what I made

 {So much Fun!!}
The  heart in the bottom left hand corner of the Kraft Board  inspired me  to create my own heart somewhere on my layout.. I cut up an old pair of jeans and covered a chipboard heart, added flowers, buttons,  thread, stitching and journaling.
I found this cute little pair of overall which matched the overalls  Sarah is wearing in the photo.
I sewed on some buttons and stitched the heart patch on with large orange X stitches.
I have used a script stamp to stamp around the edges but it doesn't show up very well in this photo.
Not the best photo of my gorgeous little one ...but its about the memory and story.
I have journaled on the back about her  playgroup day at the Ada Ryan Gardens in Whyalla.

 Heart details - flower, thread, button,  X stitches and dot point journaling.

 The Overalls with the added details.

 Another of the overalls

I have quite a stash of clothes tag.
Found this one which went well with this challenge
Billabong Denim.
I hope I have inspired you to  play along.

Thank you so much for stopping by. and for your lovely comments.

And adding an old photo of my cheeky little boy.

Sandpit + kids + water = FUN

 How awesome is this pieces of 2Crafty Chipboard.
Chipboard is so versatile! I snipped this 6x6 piece into  5 smaller pieces . :)

 The chippie was simply coloured with Distress Inks and layers up to created some dimension.

D-Lish Scraps - March Challenge - Gymnastics Awards

The March Challenge at D-Lish Scraps is this  pretty pink Inspiration Board  and  a Sketch.

Here is my take.

{Gymnastics Awards}

 Washi tape is a go to  for me at the moment....(I have lots in my stash).... I really like how easy it is to use and how effective it is to create background layers to a layout. I have added some texture with  2Crafty Chipboard pieces, and add some flowers and butterflies as seem in the  Inspiration Board.
So proud of this gorgeous little girl. She loved her gymnastics and always gave it her best shot. A quiet achiever. All her dedication and hard work paid off.

A close up of the background layers.....washi tapes, torn paper strips, rub-ons
flowers, chipboard and butterflies.

I hope I have inspired you to play along....great little prizes are up for grabs.

Thanks for stopping by.
Your kind comments are much appreciated.
