More Than Words Mini May Challenge - "Time To Celebrate"

Hello to all my Scrappy Friends and to my new followers!

Today I have played along with the Mini  More Than Words May Challenge.

More Than Words have a monthly Mini Challenge  which runs on the last week  of each month and is for cards, tags and ATC's only. The challenge requires you to used a specific word on your project. They must be able to see the word....this month the word is "TIME". I am just getting this is on time....hehehe. Entry for this challenge is via Facebook only.

Here is a tag I made....ready to tie on my Mums Birthday present.

 Having a play and trying my hand at a bit of mixed media.

I admire so many of the mixed media artists, (who by the way make it look so easy), and I have always wanted to give it a go. I have tried a few times without success but was really happy with how my little tag turned out. Note to self....work on something small to start with.

Kraft Plus May Challenge......drive time

Hello to all my Scrappy friends!

You can see that I haven't been scrapping for awhile......I am a daytime scrapper so working full time sadly doesn't

 allow much  scrapping time for me!

With the rainy, wet and windy weekend, I had a couple of enjoyable days sitting and scrapping!

 I was inspired to create this layout.

After looking at the image,

 I looked through my photo pile and saw this photo of Sarah first learning to drive.

Car...driving. 

Yeah that is what I would do...and this is what I came up with.

I hope it fits the challenge. I was also inspired by the circles and the grungy/messy background.
