You must include houndstooth pattern somewhere on your creation.
Surprise, surprise after a look through my rather large paper stash...ta da, I found some!

How beautiful Janice. The black houndstooth is perfect for the vintage photo. I assume you've transcribed the words from the back of the post card to use as your journalling. Your page leaves me wanting to know more about the people; I'm wondering if the soldier is your Grandfather? A marvellous page. TFS
