My 2Crafty October Design Team Shares

Hello and welcome to my blog!
Today I am sharing my 3  October Design Team projects for 2Crafty Chipboard.

Hello Everyone!
 Welcome to the 2Crafty blog.
Please  grab a cuppa and take some time to browse around this blog.
The layouts that the DT girls create are simply gorgeous and ooze inspiration.

Today I am sharing 3 new layouts all featuring the gorgeous 2 Crafty chipboard.
The chippie pieces look amazing over at  2Crafty,
but are even more gorgeous when you actually have them in your hands.
I feel extremely lucky to be able to work with this incredible product.
 Thank you Vanessa.

My first share this month is called....

Adore You

2Crafty Chipboard pieces:
Adore You
ATC-Seagulls
ATC-Tiny Hearts & Stars
Polaroid Assorted Frames
Assorted  Arrows

All the pieces of chipboard were primed with a coat of gesso.
I used  a sea sponge and some texture paste to add some texture to the ATC-Seagull.
I painted the Frame with Adriondack Acrylic Paint Dabber- Denim and randomly
added some gesso over it using my fingers.
The back piece of the Frame I smeared with gesso and painted the edges with the
 Denim Dabber.
I adhered a little ATC- star to the top corner of the frame.

"You" was painted with an Acrylic Paint Dabber-Denim and randomly rubbed over with some chalk.
The same technique was applied to the Assorted Arrows and the ATC-Hearts.

2Crafty have so many gorgeous chipboard titles/words to choose from.
Finding a title for your page is so easy...pop over and have a look at what 2Crafty have.
Vanessa has just released lots of new pieces and they are Fantastic.
The chippie is so versatile and easy to add to your layouts.
Adore You was actually joined but I chose to snip them apart and add in separate places.

Assorted Arrow, ATC-Tiny Hearts & Stars and a snippet of the YOU title.
All these pieces were gessoed, painted and chalked to give a white washed look.

My 2nd share is...

A Moment  CAPTURED

2Crafty Chipboard Pieces;
a moment CAPTURED
2013
Formal Flourish
Shrub Set 1

Each piece of chipboard was primed with gesso.
2013- was given a light smear of gesso.
I used a sea sponge and Golden Gel Medium- Light Molding Paste to add texture
to the Shrub Set 1 pieces and then sprayed each piece with Tattere
d Angels Glimmermist-Chalkboard.

Here I layered 2 pieces together to add some dimension.

a moment CAPTURED title was sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmermist-Chalkboard.
This is the perfect title for my page...
This was a really magical moment captured of Sarah standing in the snow in Canada.

This is a small piece I snipped from one of the Shrub Set pieces...again adding texture and dimension using a sea sponge and Golden Gel Medium Light Molding Paste and then given a generous spray of Tattered Angels Glimmermist - Chalkboard.

The Formal Flourish is covered the same way...I just daubed the sea sponge over the piece to achieve the texture and sprayed with  Tattered Angels Glimmermist-Chalkboard.

My third share for  today is....
Together is my favourite place to be

2Crafty Chipboard Pieces;
Title-Together is my favourite place to be
ATC-Tiny Hearts
Squiggly Heart Cluster

Now this is such a gorgeous piece...I love it!
I used Tim Holtz Distress inks- Walnut Stain and Tea Dye to cover the
Squiggly Heart cluster and  then adhered it to the photo.
I rubbed some Viva  Inka-Gold onto the heart  to draw your eye to the special couple
in the photo and randomly rubbed small amount onto the other hearts.

The ATC-Hearts were covered with Viva Inka-Gold.

This word phase- Together is my favourite place to be was all joined together but
I snipped it up and added each word separately to my layout.
I coloured each word the same as the Squiggly Heart Cluster, Tim Holtz Distress Inks-
Walnut Stain and Tea Dye and Inka-Gold hi lights.

The little heart piece at the end of the title was snipped from the centre of the large
Squiggly Heart Cluster framing the photo and it just happen to find its way here.

TIP: Don't be afraid to snip your chippie pieces up.
Well that is my shares for October.
I look forward to sharing some festive ones with you next month.

I always get a cuppa before browsing your blog Janice, just to take my time, zoom in and discover all the little details. You showcase the chipboard perfectly, using it to great advantage on your pages. Love the textured seagull and the navy for your Boy's page. The ?Maja paper is perfect for the snowy page in beautiful Canada, along with the sprays. Finally, I love the creative use of the heart chippy and the collaged strip it sits on. Texture heaven, lots of space, fabulous photos - it's all so classy. Thanks for the inspiration :D
