sapsasa cricket

My page for the  March 1st sketch at Stuck Sketches
{sapsasa Cricket}
I love this Twiddleybitz chipboard word, "cricket".
.Perfect title for your pages.
1.Here I have covered  "cricket" with gesso, using the tip of my finger.
 2. I outlined it using a black pencil.
3. Then matted it onto black cardstock and fussy cut with a sharp craft knife.
Hint: when cutting keep your knife in the same place and move the paper around...
.I still need some practice, but found this much easier and has a neater finish.

Thinking outside the square here with this Twiddley piece.
It is actually part of the Broken Fence,
I have cut off two pieces and used as the cricket wickets.
 HOWZ' THAT!
The cricket shirts have stars on them so the Twiddley stars
were perfect for my page....again covered with gesso
and outlined and coloured in with a black pencil

Here is the sketch.
.A great sketch for multi photos.

Thanks for all the love lately, really do appreciate you taking the time to stop by.

I love how you've used themed embellishments without them looking out of place or over the top. Fabulous page!

Love this page, shouting of the essence of summer in Oz. We need this young man in India right now! Pure genius with the cricket stumps :)
