Thrilled to share my 1st Design Team Layouts for 2Crafty

I have been busting to share this very exciting news with you all.
I am super excited to be on the 2Crafty Design Team.
A huge Thank you to Di Garling and Vanessa for inviting me.
 It is an honour and a privilege to be a part of  this amazing team.
Vanessa is incredibly generous...the 2Crafty chipboard is just gorgeous and so easy to create with.
********************************
Today I want to share with you my first 3 layouts all featuring the amazing chipboard.
1.
{Look Around}

 2Crafty Products;

I covered the chipboard with a layer of gesso.
When  dry I dipped the tip of my paint brush into the gesso and daubed it onto the chippie pieces to add some texture.
I love this old fence piece.
Using a dry brush I dipped it into the gesso and wiped it across the chippie leaving some of it raw to give it a weathered look.
 This pack of mixed buttons are fabulous.
 I have used 3 on this layout. Each one is coated with gesso.
 Once dry I used a black zig pen to add the outline and the stitch marks.
The buttons are great to add to clusters.
 Hearts are a trade mark on most of my layouts.
 I love these funky Hearts.
 I coated the chippie with gesso and once dry I wrapped stranded thread around it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My 2nd Design Team layout.
{happy Birthday}
2Crafty products;
 This shows the 2 different ways I have covered the chipboard.
To get the dark colour I pushed the Butterfly into the ink pad... Versa fine Black Onyx
The Celia's Flourish frame and Parisian Border I coated with a layer of gesso and once it was dry I lightly daubed the ink pad over each piece.
Chipboard is very versatile, this is a piece I cut off the end of the border and added it to this cluster.

 I love this loopy font.
 Here I have used happy as part of my title.
 I have inked it the same as the butterflies.

 I have added a cluster of prima flowers, a bunch of rosebuds an placed a Funky heart covered with Tim Holtz tissue tape on top.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 My 3rd Design Team  layout was created  using some gorgeous 2Crafty summery pieces
I  created this  for the No. 95 case file over at CSI  as part of my October Special Investigator month.
{Summer Days}
2Crafty Products;

I glued these little chevron pieces onto my layout.
I dipped my finger into some gesso  and randomly wiped  over the pieces.
I LOVE these little 2Crafty Seagulls.
Just perfect for my beach page. I have used 3 different sizes on this page

 Another perfect addition is this title.
"Summer Days"
I have added some thread under the title and glued it down, then added some gesso the same as I did for the Chevron Bits. I wanted it to have a weathered, white washed look.

I hope I have inspired you to get some 2Crafty chippie onto your layouts.
Pop over to the 2 Crafty blog and see what the other talented Design Team have been creating and sharing. We would love you to become a follower.
