White.....with 1 - chocolate February Challange

 Welcome  to my blog.

 I have been scrapping again and enjoyed playing along with the challenge over at 

White.......with 1

The colour for February is ...chocolate

Here is what I made.

{special memories}

His name was Smudge but we called him "Smudgee" or "Big Fella"

He was a part of our family for 16 years, sadly he is no longer with us.

 He was such an affectionate cat and had so many special ways. He never got tired of being patted and when we thought we had finished he would always reach out with his feet and try to hold us there for just a bit longer. When we walked from a to b he would always weave across our feet  almost tripping us over. He loved fish and was always there to eat the bit left over after the fish were cleaned. He was an outside  cat and  no matter how many times I shifted him or told him,  he would always lay in the sun. He had most of his ears removed 2 years ago because of skin cancers and more recently it  spread to his eyelids. After one lot of treatment which only lasted for 2 months it became too much for him. Still feel sad when I look at this photo.

Scrap The Boys February Sketch Challenge

 Hi Everyone.

I spotted this fabulous sketch over at Scrap The Boys.

I love creating with a sketch and interpreting it to suit my own style.

The Sketch

I rotated it clockwise and used it like this. 

and here is what I have made.

He is 19 in this photo not a boy anymore I suppose, but he will always be my boy. xx
I have used some gorgeous 2Crafty Chipboard pieces to embellish my layout.

Kraft+ February Challenge

February Kraft + challenge

They are going postal and want you to be inspired by 
Postage Stamps.

My take on the Challenge.

A Card.....using some beautiful bloom stamps.

I dug deep into my stash and found some super old postal stamp scissors which I used to edge the 2 pieces of Kraft and then added some thin strips of postal washi tape.

Turtle Soup Creative Magazine - February 2016

Hello Everyone! 

I have been keeping a little secret and am excited and happy to share with you all,

 that the February issue of

 Turtle Soup Creative Magazine is now live.

I am lucky enough to have 7 layouts (pages 18 & 19) and

 a card (pg 69) published in this issue.

Thank you to Bev Code...Ontario, Canada, for inviting and encouraging me

 to  submit/share my work in the magazine.

Click on the link above,  once you are there, click to view magazine, then click on Full Screen to browse the magazine., click on the smaller pages across the bottom.

 It is jammed packed full of fabulous creative projects submitted by many talented ladies.

The options to submit this month were 1. use the colour palette below OR 2. use the themes: all things red, love, valentines, family/friends love. (Themes do not have to match the colour palette)
