KraftPlus have a fun weekend Mini Challenge

Hello Everyone!

 A mini Challenge on the

Hi Krafters!!
I so hope you have some time to craft this weekend as we have a very cool mini challenge for you!!
So, the challenge is to find an embellishment that you are itching to use and use it as inspiration for your page/card/etc.
It could be something you've had for ages or a new acquisition.
It could be a flair button, ephemera, sticker, PL card, die cut, ribbon, washi tape, pretty much anything! We encourage you to take a photo of the item and share it as a comment to this Facebook  post. Then share your finished project on this page by the end of the weekend!
Please tag #kraftplusminichallenge to your post (and if you are sharing on any other platforms).
And you can even combine challenges and do a 'Friends' themed project.
It's up to you. But just remember, it must be on Kraft paper!
Please share this post to spread the word.
We can't wait to see what you come up with … Happy Krafting!

No automatic alt text available.

This is the embellishment I found in my stash which has been there for along time.
Its a black resin doily from The Resin Rainbow.

#kraftplusminichallenge …this is what I made..... a simple card.
I randomly stamped a pattern onto a piece of Kraft paper, cut that into rectangles and stuck each piece onto a piece of black paper then stuck that to a Kraft based card.
Added my EMBELLISHMENT (doily),
 added some thread and flowers..…
simple, easy and fun! .
Thanks for the great challenge Kraft+ Community

Thanks for stopping by.

My October Design Team Mini More Than Words Challenge Shaker Card

Hello Everyone!

One week left in the month so you know what that means...
Just enough time to play along with our Mini Challenge!!

This is my Design Team  Reveal.
 I made a shaker card

The Mini Challenge runs on the last week of each month and is for:
cards, tags, ATCs and postcards only.
ATCs, or Artist Trading Cards, are small works of art, about 2.5 by 3.5 inches
or 64 x 89 mm. Postcards are usually an A6 size, which is a quarter
 of an A4 ie, around 4 x 6 inches or 105mm x 148mm. If your postcard
is bulky, you could always pop it in an envelope to mail it.
This challenge requires you to use a specific word on your project.
We must see the actual word
You have only one week - until the last day of the month - to enter, so be quick!
Entry for the Mini Challenge is only
via our Facebook page under the relevant post.
The winner, as voted by our DT, will receive a $25 USD value prize
from THE DUSTY ATTIC, our fabulous Mini Challenge sponsor!
You can see all our rules under the RULES tab above.
Is this word inspiring you to make a mini creation? We sure hope so!
 Thanks heaps for stopping by.

My October Design Team Creation for More Than Words Challenges

Hello Everyone!

"Sometimes fun comes in Splatters!"

Are you ready for a very fun and messy October Main Challenge?!

{Her Favourite Shoes}

This month's gorgeous graphic and the word LEISURE inspired me to create a layout using this photo of my daughter's favorite pair of sneakers that she had as a teen. A popular brand and worn by many of her peers, she really wanted a pair. It took her a while to save enough money to buy them, and once she did, she loved them and wore them at every opportunity. Many a sport activity and time of leisure did she have in these shoes! For the creative challenge, I used a CWS stencil and pink ink and white watered down gesso flicked from
my paintbrush to create some SPLATS.

Our Main Challenge is based on a word inspiration and a creative challenge.

Word Inspiration - LEISURE
Creative Challenge - SPLATS

What does the word LEISURE inspire you to create?
You can choose to use the actual word somewhere on your project
or simply be inspired by it.  Since words are an integral part of our challenges, we want to know how this month's word stimulated your creative process, so please do explain in your blog post how
it inspired you if it isn't obvious in your work.

This month, our challenge concept is all about having fun! Remember when you were a child and you loved to play with paint and create splatters? Well, we at More Than Words still love to do this! Our creative challenge for you is to take your paints, inks, stains, etc and add SPLATS to your project.

This was such a fun challenge to play along with.
More stash busting...making old new again.
2Crafty Chipboard pieces, twine, Rub-Ons, Crafters Workshop  Stencils, threads, stitching,
vellum hearts, ink, gesso.

We are hoping that our fabulous DT creations
have inspired you and that you will play along with us this month.

One look at the prizes up for grab and we know that you will not want
to miss this challenge for a chance to win some of these goodies!

We are looking forward to seeing your entries into out
October Main Challenge LEISURE & SPLATS!

 Hello Everyone!

This months challenge at  Kraft + is all about

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

a friend indeed

{friends}

Here is my  Design Team take for the October "Friends" Challenge.
To me scrapping isn't always about the best photo, its about the memory...this photo is a little blurry, but I still love it and the memory it holds for me. These 2 have always been really good buddies/friends and I hope they will always be that way.

This months gorgeous challenge...
seriously, where would we be without our FRIENDS!

We welcome all kinds of  Kraft entries  for our challenge, from a traditional layout, cards, tags, art journals etc., just please remember that it is all about the Kraft.
You can share your K+ creations with us either in our Facebook Kraft+ Community Group
OR via the inlinkz tool in the sidebar

Lots of close ups showing the details. I stamped the background with Kaisercraft stamps and different coloured inks, added bits  of Rubons and randomly torn strips of washi tape. 2Crafty chipboard pieces, Cuts2luv Flair button, prima flower, Cricut Kraft doily, thread, twine, vellum heart, all stuff from my stash to complete the layout.

We hope you will play along. You have until the 31st of October to share.
